My initial idea was to base my model on a Scania R142 as I had some experience with this from one of the previous builds. The chassis would then be fitted with a standard BRO wrecker body that has been offered by Revell and Italeri. After few days of planning I thought that building another Scania was not what I really wanted so I decided to fit the body on a modified chassis of recently reissued Iveco Special which gained the double drive axles and suspension from my spares box while the front drive axle is a well known KFS item. My model runs on fantastic KFS TQ-126 & TQ-127 split rim off road wheels. The above mentioned was further supplemented with other finer parts and details like photoetched lights from Scala43 and Modelltrucks & parts, Detail Master hose clamps, KFS air valves, Czech Truck Model exhaust heat shields & rain caps and catwalks.
