Kit Form Services ERF S-series by Peter White
The resin cab door was cut out to pose it open and show off the interior. Exterior details include spotlights and a modified sunvisor and a scratchbuilt air intake. Inside, a Kenworth high back driver’s seat was used to match the real one, and given control details. A spares box bunk was added plus controls on the steering column and switches and dials.
The chassis is scratchbuilt and the front and rear suspension are ex-Italeri Iveco Cowboy kit parts. The KFS cab mounting was modified to fit the new chassis. A Cummins engine was fitted and the battery box is a modified Volvo part. The wheelarches are ribbed Auslowe parts with new stays and Velcro mudflaps. Extra parts (as on the real ERF) include a large locker, toolbox, catwalk and ladder. The exhaust is a KFS Eminox part.
The model features a modified AMT Gravel trailer which has been lengthened and the sides raised. It has tandem axles on a scratchbuilt chassis.
